Japanese Stab Binding Tutorial: Notched

This tutorial contains the instructions for sewing the Japanese stab bind called Notched, designed by Becca Hirsbrunner Spalinger. It has two full sets of instructions, one for exactly what you see in the image above, and another set for a slightly longer bind with four chevron motifs instead of just three. There is some also general information about the Japanese Stab binding technique.
